The Background Remover erases solid or near-solid backgrounds from photos and logos, leaving a transparent PNG you can place on any design.
How to use it
- Upload an image with a fairly uniform background.
- Adjust the tolerance slider to catch more or less of the background color.
- Preview the transparent result on the checkerboard.
- Download the PNG with transparency.
Pro tips
- Works best on product shots and logos against a plain, contrasting background.
- Raise tolerance gradually — too high can eat into the subject.
- For busy or gradient backgrounds, manually crop first for cleaner edges.
Behind the result
The tool samples the background color from the image corners, then turns every pixel within your tolerance range transparent using a flood-fill pass — all computed locally, with no cloud AI service involved.
